Education Focus: San Juan Diego Middle School, Racine, Grant

San Juan Diego Middle School provides a quality, Catholic education for students from Racine's impoverished neighborhoods so they grow academically, socially, personally and spiritually. It is their aim to prepare students for leadership, service and success in continuing their education and career opportunities. With a grant from The Catholic Community Foundation for the afternoon curriculum, we are helping fulfill a critical part of the school's mission to provide an intensive, quality educational program for the most vulnerable children in Racine. Through alternative learning opportunities students grow a sense of accomplishment and confidence. Students are able to devote themselves to learning skills and developing talents they would not otherwise discover.
